Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, I began my career as a touring bassist playing a wide variety of venues from intimate clubs to stadiums. I hold a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music as well as a Master of Music from California State University, Los Angeles. Currently I'm a composer, session & live bass player, as well as a highly regarded audio instructor.
WHAT I'VE DONE
In my 20 years as a Los Angeles-based music professional I have worked as a music director, composer, arranger, copyist & music editor. As a bassist I have performed with:
Joey McIntyre (NKOTB)
Danny Seraphine (Chicago)
Jody McBreyer (Avalon)
The Dan Band
WHAT I DO
I balance an active performing schedule with teaching, producing, and recording in the studio. The last few years have seen me on a European tour with the David Bowie tribute Space Oddity as well as two national tours with Filipino artists Gary Valenciano and Regine Velasquez. As an Avid certified instructor in both Pro Tools and PT for Game Audio I teach a wide variety of audio classes at colleges and universities throughout the Southland. Recently I released an album of original songs entitled Zero Dollars, No Sense.
